Aims and Scope

Aim:

Journal of Applied Molecular Biology (JAMB) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal, published by Molecular Biology Research & Studies Institute, Assiut University, Egypt. It publishes two issues per year of original research, reviews, short communication and case report articles in all areas of molecular biology, biotechnology and applied bioinformatics journal. JAMB aims to promote research in all relevant fields of applied molecular biology, biotechnology and bioinformatics through publishing the latest breakthroughs in these fields. The journal encourages the submission of multidisciplinary studies that use complementary experimental and computational approaches to address challenging biological questions. The Journal follows the basic ethical standards of open-access publishing with regard to ethics, peer review, archiving, and dissemination of knowledge.

Scope of the Journal:

The journal seeks high quality papers on scientific advances in various areas of Molecular biology, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics and its applications in Plant, Animal, and Human Medicinal fields. Research areas include but are not limited to:

  • Molecular Diagnostics, Molecular Pathology, Molecular Immunology, Molecular Microbiology.
  • Reproductive Biotechnology, Gene therapy, Tissue culture and Stem cell biology
  • Animal Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnology, Food Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology.
  • Applied Biostatistics, Applied Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.
